Race To Your Place On The Case Every Time
YouTube is very damned addictive. I'm shocked that I accidentally found this. I have no idea how I would react if I saw this show today, but I was a big fan of it when I was about eight years old. We even used to play THE KIDS FROM C.A.P.E.R. in the backyard. Here's the opening title sequence. Catchy tune...

How long was each episode, Like 10 minutes?

Once you play the 3 minute intro and take out time for commercials, what's left?

It's actually only 1:31, which was not unusual for TV series of any kind at that time. Check out some of those Stephen J. Cannell shows like THE A-TEAM and THE GREATEST AMERICAN HERO. You could needlepoint two pillow shams during their title sequences.

Wow! I'm totally surprised that anyone remembers this show besides myself!

To my pre-pubescent mindset, THE KIDS FOM C.A.P.E.R. was a madcap delight - a fast-paced MONKEES-style combination of songs, sight gags, and silliness (loved their Oscar-Meyerish crime-fighting vehicle, "The Big Baloney"!)

I still remember some of the songs like "Fun in the Jungle," "Rockets and Stars," and "Like a Hero in the Movies." I wonder what I would think to see it again now?

There also was a character who freaked out whenever he heard the word "banana." I don't know why.

YouTube also has a musical MONKEES-style KIDS FROM C.A.P.E.R. "romp" that features a young and really cute Rita Wilson.
